Independence Day of Pakistan: Message from Feng Deheng, Acting Consul of China in Karachi
On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan, on behalf of the Chinese Consulate General in Karachi, I would like to extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan and friends from all sectors in our consular district.
Seventy-nine years ago, Pakistan solemnly proclaimed its founding, embarking on a great journey of unremitting self-improvement and determined progress. Over the past 79 years, the Pakistani government and people have resolutely safeguarded national sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, overcome numerous hardships and challenges, and steadily advanced national development, making significant contributions to maintaining world peace and regional stability.
This year also marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. Over the past 75 years, regardless of how the international landscape changed, China and Pakistan have always enjoyed mutual understanding, mutual trust and mutual support, forging an unbreakable traditional friendship, carrying out mutually beneficial exchanges and cooperation, and setting a fine example for state-to-state relations. The China-Pakistan relationship has grown ever stronger over time, and our cooperation has broad prospects.
Standing at a new historical starting point, we are ready to work together with the Pakistani side to implement the important consensus reached by the two countries’ leaders, join hands to build an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era, and let our iron friendship shine even brighter.
May Pakistan enjoy national prosperity and strength. May its people be blessed with happiness and well-being. May the tree of China-Pakistan friendship remain evergreen forever!
