KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 162,354 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 91,234 tonnes of Import Cargo and 71,120 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 91,234 tonnes Comprised of67,998 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 6,267 tonnes of Containerized Cargo,561 tonnes of B Bulk Cargo, 1,930 tonnes of Canola, 1,626 tonnes of Lentils,& 12,852 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 71,120 tonnes Comprised of 34,962 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 243 Tons of B. Bulk Cargo, 19,539Tons of Clinkers, 7,648 Tons of Loose Bulk Cement,1,078 tonnes of Rice, & 7,650 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Approximately, 07 ships namely, Msc Diletta, Hmm Leaf, Navi Sunny, Cnc Rich, Kmtc Cnava Sheva, Damon, & MT Mardan berthed at Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 03 ships namely, Helena K, Varanya Bhum, & Yasa Golden Dardanells sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them four ships, GSL Rossi, Zhong Gu Ri Zhao, Rostrum Zug and Maya Gas-1 are expected to sail on Monday.
Cargo volume of 246,999 tones comprising 173,094 tones imports cargo and 73,905 export cargo carried in 7,255 Containers (3,256 TEUs Imports & 3,999 TEUs Export)was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 14 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Intelligence Diva and Trimmu-3 & two more ships, Maersk Calabar and CMA CGM Verdi scheduled to load/offload Cement, LPG and Container are expected to take berths MW-2, EVTL and QICT respectively on Monday 22nd July, 2026.
