KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 108,902 Tons of Cargo Comprising 83,788 Tons of Import Cargo and 25,114 Tons of Export Cargo during last 24 hrs wnding at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 83,788 Tons Comprised of 57,975 Tons of Containerized Cargo,3,312 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 5,422 Tons of (Dap), 9,103 Tons of Rock Phosphate, 6,241 Tons of Soya Beans Seeds 20,766 Tons of Total Bulk, and 1,735 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 25,114 Tons Comprised of 12,980 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 485 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 6,740 Tons of Clinkers, 949 Tons of Rice, 7,689 Tons of Total Bulk, and 3,960 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
There are seven ships namely MSC Reef, Stolt Norland, ErMaden, KMTC Mombasa, Liang Xiang 85, Puma 7, and Kritistate at Berth at Karachi Port Trust.
Two ships Marine Xena, and Esl Mundra sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
Port Qasim
A total of nine ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Spirit of Bertram and Zest are expected to sail on 18-6-26.
Cargo volume of 96,205 tones comprising 61,675 tones imports cargo and 34,530 export cargo carried in 1,111 Containers (10 TEUs Imports and 1,101 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 11 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them two ships, Ginga Couger and Al-Bert-P and another ship ‘Niledutch Lion’ For Bunkering and Container are expected to take berths MW-1 and QICT respectively on 18th June, 2026.
