K Electric Limited (KE) announced on Thursday the election of its directors.
The country’s sole power utility for Karachi shared the information in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.
Adeeb Ahmad, FaisalAhmed Siddiqui, Fahad Sultan Ahmed (Independent Director), Muhammad Kamran Kamal, Mujahid Pervaz, Mubasher H. Sheikh, Mustafa Nasir Farooki, Sameer Chishty, Shaheryar Chishty and Shan E Abbas Ashary were elected, the KE informed.
Moreover, the government has made the following nominations on the Board of KE:
- Secretary, Ministry of Energy (Power Division)
- Secretary, Ministry of Finance
- Ali Raza Bhutt
Last month, the company appointed Syed Taha as the company’s new chief executive officer (CEO).
“We would like to apprise that the Board of Directors of K-Electric Limited has appointed Syed Taha as the new CEO of the company, in place of Adeeb Ahmad, the interim CEO, with effect from 15 April 2026,” read the notice by KE.
