Mayor invites Japanese investment

KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab met Japan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Akamatsu Shuichi on Saturday, inviting Japanese investors to explore opportunities in infrastructure, clean energy and municipal services in Pakistan’s largest city, Karachi.

The meeting focused on municipal cooperation, tourism and healthcare collaboration also attended by the Consul General of Japan in Karachi and other officials, the meeting underscored growing cooperation between Pakistan and Japan in urban development and economic engagement.
