FAISALABAD: As per the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Clean Punjab campaign is going on in full swing in Faisalabad division. Along with the daily cleaning operations, a clean environment was provided to the citizens during the Eid-ul-Fitr as well. Waste workers remained active to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.

Commissioner Faisalabad Raja Jahangir Anwar met the waste workers after Eid-ul-Fitr prayers and appreciated their tireless efforts in the campaign to make the division clean. He distributed sweets among the waste workers. Deputy Commissioner Captain Nadeem Nasir (R) and CEO Faisalabad Waste Management Company Rauf Ahmed were also present.

The Commissioner said that we are all part of the Clean Punjab campaign. He said that citizens should also play their role in maintaining cleanliness in the society. He said that let us pledge to continue playing our part in keeping our streets, streets and divisions clean.

CEO FWMC said that on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Faisalabad Waste Management Company was active in all four districts of the division to provide a clean environment to the citizens. Under the Clean Punjab programme, sanitation operations in cities and rural areas were made more effective, coordinated and fast-paced so that the best sanitation services could be provided.

He said that all the district managers ensured special monitoring of the field teams. The performance of the monitoring officers was also checked. He said that for the convenience of the citizens, the availability of waste bins near recreational places and the process of timely emptying them was also expedited.
