HYDERABAD: A high-level delegation of the Hyderabad SITE Association of Trade and Industry, led by Senior Vice Chairman Aamir Shahab, visited the HESCO Head Office and held a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer, Faizullah Dahri. The delegation also included General Secretary Shahid Qaim Khani and Managing Committee Member Sharif Punjani.

During the meeting, the delegation strongly raised the issue of establishing load-shedding-free feeders for areas under Sindh Small Industries. Aamir Shahab stated that uninterrupted electricity supply to industrial zones is directly linked to production, exports, employment, and the national economy.

He demanded that all Sindh Small Industries zones be immediately shifted to load-shedding-free feeders to prevent unnecessary financial losses to industrialists.

He further highlighted that during road excavation and development works, the removal of electricity poles often leads to prolonged power outages beyond the scheduled time, severely disrupting industrial activities. In this regard, he urged that power restoration be ensured strictly as per the given schedule.

Responding to the concerns, HESCO CEO Faizullah Dahri assured the delegation that practical work on establishing load-shedding-free feeders for Sindh Small Industries is underway, and, God willing, tangible progress is expected by next month. He also informed that another follow-up meeting will be held next week to finalize all related matters.

The CEO further assured that instructions will be issued to the concerned officers to ensure timely restoration of electricity during road excavation works so that industrialists do not face unnecessary inconvenience.

The delegation of the Hyderabad SITE Association of Trade and Industry appreciated the cooperation and positive attitude of the HESCO management and expressed hope that these measures will be implemented soon, leading to stability and growth in Hyderabad’s industrial sector.
