Public Accounts Committee (PAC)’s committee examined the Audit Report of 2023-24 of Ministry of Interior. Shahida Akhtar Ali chaired the meeting held here on Tuesday.

The capital civic authority took actions against all such housing societies which could not complete their development work in timeframe approved by CDA. The administration of CDA issued NOCs 24 housing societies, whereas, approved LOPs of 50 housing societies.

Member committee Tariq Fazal Chaudry alleged that delay in completion of family suites in parliamentary lodges was result of PTI sit in in 2014, whereas, another Member Saleem Mandvewalla said that it was 100 percent fault of CDA which hired the contractor without fund.

While, the official of CDA revealed that the construction work was halted due to shortage of fund.
