KARACHI: Shipping activity was report at the port where six ships, CMA CGM Passion, Ren Jian-26, Manina, M Bristol, Gas Aurora and Parvaj scheduled to load/offload Container, Cement, Palm oil, LPG and Coal, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively on 28th January, Meanwhile four more ships, MSC Flosta-III, Spirit of Bertram, Fuwairit and Valiant with Container, LNG and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage during last 24 hours.
A total of eleven ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Al-Khor and CMA CGM Passion & four more ships, Gas Aurora, Unity Adventure, Ren Jian-26 and Spirit of Bertram are expected to sail on today afternoon.
Cargo volume of 203,718 tonnes, comprising 141,530 tonnes imports cargo and 62,188 export cargo carried in 5,574 Containers (2,825 TEUs Imports & 2,749 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 11 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them four ships, Spirit of Bertram, MSC Flosta, Fuwairit and Valiant & another ships, Maya Gas carrying Container, LNG, Coal and LPG expected to take berths at QICT, PGPCL, MW-4 and EVTL on Thursday 29th January, 2026.
