ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Thursday again did not record his statement before the court in the PTI criminal complaint against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his key cabinet ministers over crackdown on the party’s protest march on November 26.

District and Sessions Judge Nasir Javed Rana while hearing the case adjourned the case without proceedings after PTI chairman failed to record his statement. Both Ghohar and MNA Latif Khosa advocate appeared before the court.

The criminal complaint names Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Information Minister Atta Tarar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and senior police officers authorities’ crackdown on the protest march led by former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkwa Ali Amin Gandapur and PTI founding chairman Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi near D-Chwok.

The PTI in its complaint says at least 12 of its supporters were killed and another 38 were injured on November 26, while 139 of its supporters are missing.

The court adjourned hearing till April 7.
