According to TikTok, this year’s searches tell a story of discovery with purpose. Travel queries, from Islamabad to Altit Fort Hunza, point to a growing appetite for exploring Pakistan’s landscapes and landmarks, with TikTok acting as a planning companion through reviews, itineraries, and creator-led recommendations. At the same time, searches tied to major matches and headline moments underline how Pakistan experiences culture collectively, with TikTok helping people relive key highlights, follow the conversation, and join communities in real time.

TikTok said searches for several popular content tags rose in Pakistan over the past year, pointing to growing use of the platform as a discovery tool. “Searches linked to travel increased by 53 percent while food rose by 52 percent. Study searches were up 60 percent and fitness recorded the largest jump, growing 66 percent year-on-year. The figures suggest Pakistani users are increasingly turning to TikTok to find content aligned with their interests and curiosity.”
