Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced the official window for the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The PSL 11 is scheduled to take place from March 26 to May 3, 2026, the PCB said in a statement on Monday.

“The confirmation of the HBL PSL 11 window marks a significant milestone as preparations intensify for the league’s next phase of expansion,” read the press release. The PCB said it will also host the new teams auction on January 8 next year at the Islamabad Convention Centre, where the rights for two new PSL franchises will be offered.

The auction will be broadcasted, providing transparency and global visibility to prospective investors and cricket fans worldwide, it said.

“The PSL continues to attract strong international interest, reflecting the league’s growing commercial strength, expanding global footprint and long-term growth potential. Recent engagements with global stakeholders have underlined confidence in the league’s business model and its positioning among the world’s leading T20 competitions,” the PCB said.

Recognised for its high-quality cricket, competitive balance and role in developing elite international talent, the PSL has firmly established itself as a premier global T20 league, it maintained.

‘PSL to be further globalised’

Speaking at the PSL road show in New York, the PCB chairman said that the league would be further strengthened and globalised.

The first of its kind event in New York was attended by prominent members of the Pakistani-American community, prospective PSL bidders, investors, key stakeholders, and famed Pakistani cricket stars.

Naqvi said that the PCB is committed to making the PSL one of the world’s best cricket leagues through transparency, innovation, and strong international partnerships.
