PESHAWAR: The KP government has ordered the posting and transfers of 25 senior officers and administrative secretaries of various department in a major shake-up in the bureaucratic hierarchy of the province on Monday.
According to a notification issued by the Establishment Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Secretary Industries, Commerce & Technical Education, Masood Ahmad (PCS SG BS-21) has transferred and posted as Commissioner Malakand Division replacing Abid Wazir (PAS BS-19, who has been transferred and posted on the post vacated by Masood Khan.
Muhammad Javed Marwat (PCS EG BS-21), Senior Member of Board of Revenue has been transferred and posted as Commissioner Mardan while his predecessor Nisar Ahmad (PAS BS-19) has been transferred and posted as Secretary Energy & Power.
Similarly, Dawood Khan (PCS SG BS-2) Secretary Public Health Engineering has transferred and posted as Commissioner, D I Khan replacing Zafar-ul-Islam (PAS BS-19) who has been transferred and posted as Secretary Local Government & Rural Development.
Atta-ur-Rehman (PMS BS-20) Member-1 Board of Revenue has been transferred and posted as Secretary Auqaf, Hajj, Religious & Minorities Affairs while Zarif Ul Maani (PMS BS-20) Managing Director KP Education Foundation has been transferred and posted as Secretary Livestock, Fisheries & Cooperative Department.
Mohammad Asif (PMS BS-20) who was Special Secretary Finance Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary Sports & Youth Affairs Department replacing Saadat Hassan (PAS BS-20) who has been transferred and posted against the vacant of the Secretary, Culture, Tourism, Archeology and Museum Department.
Muhammad Ayaz (PAS BS-20) Secretary Irrigation Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary Inter-Provincial Coordination) replacing Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq (PAS BS-20) who has been transferred and posted as Secretary Communication & Works Department.
Abdul Basit (PMS BS-20) Special Secretary Elementary & Secondary Education Department has been transferred and posted as Secretary Irrigation while Flt. Lt Amer Sultan Tareen (Retd) (PAS BS-20) who was Secretary Finance has been transferred and posted as Senior Member Board of Revenue. However, he will relinquish the charge of the post of Secretary Finance Department after the meeting of the National Finance Commission (NFC) scheduled on December 5, 2025.
Captain Kamran Afridi (Retd) (PAS BS-20) Secretary Higher Education has been transferred and posted as Secretary Finance while Muhammad Zubair (PAS BS-20) Secretary Energy & Power Department has been posted as Secretary Transport & Mass Transit Department, replacing Masood Younas (PMS BS-20) who has been transferred and posted as Secretary Public Health Engineering.
Junaid Khan (PMS BS-20) Director General Mines & Minerals has been transferred and posted as Secretary Climate Change, Forestry, Environment and Wildlife Department while Sohail Khan (PAS BS-20) DG KP Education Monitory Authority has been transferred and posted as Secretary Relief, Rehabilitation and Settlement Department replacing Yousaf Rahim (PCS EG BS-20) who has been asked to report o Establishment Department.
Similarly, Saqib Raza Aslam (PMS BS-20) Secretary Local Government & Rural Development) has also been asked to report to Establishment Department.
