CHAGHI: In a joint operation of the Chaghi administration and the Dalbadin Rifle, all the Afghan refugees who were residing in these camps left for Afghanistan after their registration in the Chaghi area of Balochistan.
Sources said that following the evacuation of the refugees, the administration has also begun the process of demolishing the vacated houses and shops in the camp.
CCTV footage clearly showed the demolition of vacant houses located in the Gardhi Jungle. Sources said that all Afghan refugees were repatriated after the completion of all documentary evidence.
About 70,000 Afghan refugees were residing in these camps. The local administration started the repatriation process of Afghan refugees on November 26, 2025.
The district administration said that the process will continue as per the policies of the State. All the structures of vacant houses were also being removed.
