KARACHI: Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) Director General Muzammil Halipoto has issued important instructions, taking strict notice of the report submitted to NAB regarding marriage halls.
According to an SBCA spokesperson, all wedding halls across the city have been instructed to submit their relevant documents within three days; otherwise immediate action will be taken against them.
He said that under the orders of the Sindh High Court, conditional permission was given to use marriage halls only for commercial purposes, but several marriage halls have not submitted commercialization challans.
Wedding hall owners, who have not submitted commercialization challans to relevant institutions, including KDA, will have their wedding halls sealed and even demolished. They have been given three-day deadline.
