KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 132,977 Tons of cargo comprising 69,471 Tons of import cargo and 63,506 Tons of export cargo during last 24 hrs ending at 0700 Hours.
The total import cargo of 69,471 Tons comprised of 36,991 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 26,455 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 4,170 Tons of Ammonium Sulphate and 1,855 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 63,506 Tons comprised of 55,615 Tons of Containerized Cargo, 200 Tons of Bulk Cargo, 4,050 Tons of Rice and 6,000 Tons of Liquid Cargo.
There are eight ships namely Da Qing Xia, Gfs Prime, Athba, GslGrania, Beluga A, Chemroad Sirius, Xin Fu Zhou, and Carl Schulte at Berth at Karachi Port Trust.
Six ships namely Fu Rong Song, Konrad, Ever Lucid, Apl Qingdao, Hmm Ocean, and Wan Hai 316, sailed from Karachi Port Trust.
Port Qasim
A total of ten ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, MSC Prelude-V and V-Pacific left the port on today morning, while four more ships, EleniT, Pirrihio, Gas lily and Lila Ace are expected to sail on today after noon.
Cargo volume of 205,536 tonnes, comprising 131,626 tonnes imports cargo and 73,910 export cargo carried in 6,629 Containers (2,629 TEUs Imports & 4,000 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours There are 16 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Venus Halo, Khasab Silver and Aquavita Bay and another containers ship ‘GFS Prime’ scheduled to load/offload Cement, Palm oil, Coal and Container are expected to take berths at MW-2, LCT, PIBT and QICT on today11th November, 2025.
