Deadline for filing income tax returns extended till Oct 15th

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) late Tuesday night extended the deadline for filing the income tax returns till October 15, 2025.

In this regard, the FBR has issued an income tax circular number 4 of 2025. The date has been extended on the requests from various trade bodies, tax bar associations, and general public.

Till now, the FBR has received over 4million income tax returns for tax year 2025.
