ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department predicted on Sunday that continental air continues to dominate most parts of Pakistan, bringing cold and dry weather, while a weak westerly wave influences the western and upper regions of the country.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, most areas are expected to experience cold and dry conditions today, with the upper regions remaining very cold and partly cloudy. Light rain or snowfall is anticipated in isolated areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and nearby hilly regions.

Foggy conditions, particularly in patches, are likely to affect the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh during nighttimes.
