Bail of Elahi, wife extended

LAHORE: A Special Court Anti-Corruption on Wednesday extended the bail of former chief minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, his wife and son in ring road corruption scam till November 15.

The court restrained the Anti-Corruption Establishment from arresting the accused in the case. The Anti Corruption Establishment registered a case against Pervez Elahi allotting contract of the ring road against the rules to some blue-eyed companies.

The accused persons are also facing the charges of receiving kick backs in construction of ring road.
