KARACHI: On Friday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 15.732 billion and the number of lots traded at 15,898.
Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.231 billion, followed by NSDQ100 (PKR 3.459 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.741 billion), Crude (PKR 1.873 billion), DJ (PKR 1.377 billion), Silver (PKR 817.715 million), Natural Gas (PKR 483.499 million), Platinum (PKR 318.174 million), SP500 (PKR 289.566 million), Copper (PKR 128.794 million), Brent (PKR 6.865 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 6.226 million).
In Agricultural Commodities, 21 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 19.310 million were traded.
