Scholz rejects Russia's claim Kyiv is preparing a dirty bomb

BERLIN: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz rejected on Monday Russian claims that Kyiv is preparing to use a dirty bomb, while the UN nuclear watchdog began inspections in Ukraine over Moscow's allegations.

Scholz shares the opinion of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the International Atomic Energy Agency inspections, initiated by Kyiv, will remove all doubts about this, the German chancellery said in a statement after a telephone call between the two leaders.
