KARACHI: National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) celebrated Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day by organising a flag hoisting ceremony at the Head Office. The National flag was hoisted by Rehmat Ali Hasnie, President & CEO, NBP (A) along with executives.

Paying tribute to the national heroes of Pakistan, Rehmat Ali Hasnie said, “Pakistan was made as a premier democratic Islamic welfare state, a country where all segments of society are provided equal opportunity to improve their lives. NBP endeavors to create an inclusive economic system that will benefit the state, its citizens and the bank’s stakeholders.” Sharing his thoughts on the Diamond Jubilee of Pakistan, Hasnie said, ‘NBP is proud to have the leading role in economic growth of the country while focusing on increasing financial inclusivity across all strata of society.”

NBP, as the largest public sector commercial bank of Pakistan, has been aggressively working on creating avenues to attract the unbanked business sector towards the banking sector through various financial schemes.

The bank has a wide network for remittances as the customers are able to receive remittances from across the world.
