KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 25.346 billion and the number of lots traded at 20,028. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 9.547 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.597 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 3.861 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 3.201 billion), DJ (PKR 915.703 million), Silver (PKR 802.550 million), SP 500 (PKR 795.083 million), Platinum (PKR 638.267 million), Copper (PKR 434.590 million), Japan Equity 225 (PKR 360.188 million) and Natural Gas (PKR 192.630 million).
