KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian palm oil futures ended lower on Thursday, following sharp gains in the previous session, pressured by weaker rival soyoil and forecasts of a rise in July stockpiles.

The benchmark palm oil contract for October delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange fell 78 ringgit, or 1.82%, to 4,213 ringgit ($999.53) a tonne, after rising 3.6% in the previous session.
