KARACHI: Three ships arrived at the Port on Friday, including M.V Msc Cantania at QICT, M.T Sc Bei Hai at LCT, M.T Fair Spirit at FOTCO terminals, Port sources said here Saturday.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 43 percent at the Port on Saturday where a total of eight ships namely, M.V Cantania M.V Safmarine Ngami, M.T Sc Bei Hai, M.T Fair Spirit, M.V Alead, M.V Vige Enterprise are currently occupying berths to load/ offload rice, sunflowerseed, containers, palm oil, furnace oil.
Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 65958 tonnes comprising 36146 tonnes import 29812 tonnes export 3156 (TUES) was handled at the Port during the last 24 hours. M.T. M.V Safmarine Ngami sailed on Friday evening. No vessel arrived on December 24.
