KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at 6.441 billion and the number of lots traded 8,549.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 2.941 billion, followed by copper PKR 711.545 million, DJ PKR 680.242 million, silver PKR 613.577 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 575.507million, currencies through COTS PKR 351.660 million, natural gas PKR 207.670million, crude oil PKR 172.523 million, platinum PKR 148.718 million and SP500 PKR 37.604 million.
