KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 9.242 billion and the number of lots traded 10,212.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.458 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.773 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 1.198 billion, DJ PKR 1.181 billion, crude oil PKR 349.633 million, platinum PKR 336.317 million, copper PKR 335.053 million, silver PKR 282.131 million, natural gas PKR 278.701 million and SP500 PKR 49.387 million.

In agriculture commodities, 3 lots of soybean amounting to PKR 25.213 million, 2 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 9.430 million and one lot of cotton amounting to PKR 5.406 million were traded.
