KARACHI: On Tuesday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.394 billion and the number of lots traded was 8,315.

Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.665 billion, followed by silver PKR 883.333 million, currencies through COTS PKR 516.722 million, natural gas PKR 393.236 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 378.940 million, platinum PKR 201.035 million, crude oil PKR 175.409 million, DJ PKR 147.625 million, copper 19.737 million and SP500 PKR 13.315 million.

In agriculture commodities one lot of wheat amounting to PKR 4.402 million and 5 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 2.774 million were traded.
