Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is on cloud nine post the success of his latest release ‘Padmaavat’ but it seems like the actor is following the over around trend that the latest India's ‘national crush’ Priya Prakash has created.

In the middle of celebrating the most successful movie of his career, Shahid has already started shooting for his next film ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ opposite Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam. Although the actor is said to play a lawyer in the movie, Shahid is not making any compromises on his body.

Even with the hectic schedule of the film, Shahid posted a gym selfie but the actor was seeing imitating the all so famous trend of the newest social media craze Priya. Just like Priya, Shahid clicked his latest picture in which he can be seen winking.

Priya and her famous song is facing a lot of trouble after some Muslim Indian men accused the song and its lyrics to be blasphemous and lodged an official FIR against the makers of the song.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Pinkvilla, the director of his next film Shree Narayan Singh spoke about Shahid and said, "Shahid is fantastic. He liked the idea and when he met me and he agreed for the movie within five minutes. Our equation is really good. Shahid is playing a lawyer in the film."
