The Scientific Ravi, a prestigious science research magazine of the Government College University Lahore, was published on Monday. The magazine is carrying 127 innovate research articles by noted scientists, professors, old Ravians and the university students.
The research magazine is being published for the last 20 years. GCU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Khaleequr Rahman said that the main objective of The Scientific Ravi is to explore the creativity and research talent among the university students.
He said that the research magazine had been named after the river Ravi, adding that the flowing river is referred as the symbolic continuity of ideas, thoughts, feelings and rich sentiments of GCU students, alumni and faculty members which are expressed through the magazine. He also appreciated, Editor, Fazal Muhammad Khan efforts to bring such magazine.
