Murree police during crackdown against fake currency dealers have arrested an accused identified as Muhammad Tariq and recovered fake currency amounting to Rs 200,000. Police spokesman informed APP that acting on a tip-off Murree police conducted a raid at Mall Road Murree and arrested Muhammad Tariq son of Fazal Gul, resident of Charsada, and recovered fake currency from him.
A case has been registered against the accused while further investigation is underway. Meanwhile, Kotli Sytian police have recovered gold ornaments and diamonds worth Rs 75 million which were stolen from the house of Nawabzada Mohsin Ali, resident of F-10 Islamabad.
City Police Officer Azhar Hameed Khokhar appreciating the performance of Kotli Sytian police announced cash award and certificates for them.
