Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Quaid Altaf Hussain on Friday expressed concern over the kidnapping of Shahbaz Taseer, son of the former governor of the Punjab Salman Taseer. Hussain termed the abduction of Shahbaz as reprehensible and asked the government to take every possible measures for his early recovery.
He demanded of President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Governor Sardar Latif Khosa to take serious notice of the kidnapping of the son of a former governor and bring the culprits to book.
