Bollywood biggies who skipped Virat-Anushka’s reception
Actress Anushka Sharma and Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s grand royal Mumbai’s reception was one of the biggest events of 2017, however, where almost all Indian celebrities came to congratulate the newlyweds, some big names from the Bollywood missed out on the affair.
The first bigwig celebrity from Bollywood to miss the event was none other than Anushka’s co-star from ‘Sultan’ Salman Khan, who was apparently busy celebrating his 52nd birthday with closed ones at his Panvel farmhouse on Wednesday night.
Besides Salman, another Khan who missed the event was Saif Ali Khan and his wife Kareena Kapoor, who couldn’t attend the starry affair as the couple had left for their European New Year’s getaway with son Taimur Ali Khan.
Kareena’s ex Shahid Kapoor and family, wife Mira Rajput and daughter Misha, also missed out on the event for the same reason.
Another Anushka’s co-star from ‘Pk’ Aamir Khan also couldn’t make it for the event as the superstar had left for little winter holidays trip with family.
Anushka's alleged ex Ranveer Singh and his current girlfriend Deepika Padukone were also a miss from the big event. Deepika was out of the country on holidays and perhaps Ranveer decided not to attend the party without his lady love.
Akshay Kumar and wife Twinkle Khanna were also out of the country and couldn’t attend the party.
Alia Bhatt, who’s currently having the time of her life in Bali with her best friend, couldn’t make it to the event either.
