KARACHI: No ship arrived at Port Qasim on Saturday 10 December, 2011. Berth occupancy remained at 42% at the Port Qasim on Saturday where a total of six ships namely M.V Fisher-K, M.V Ionian Sea, M.V MSC Catania, M.V Frauke, M.T Chemroad Rose, M.T Lahore are currently occupying berths to load-offload rice, cement, containers, palm oil, furnace oil and LPG handled at Port last 24 hours.
Cargo handled operations were carried out smoothly at the port where a cargo volume 41167 tonnes comprising 35272 tonnes import, 5895 tonnes export and 397 (TUES) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
M.V MSC Catania, M.V Fruke and M.T Chemroad Rose sailed on Saturday afternoon. M.T Golden Ambrosia at EVTL, M.T Al Buhaira at FOTCO, M.T Sanko Naptune at LCT, M.V Maerks Kentucky at QICT arrive on 11th December, 2011.
