Arjun Kapoor unhappy with father Boney and step-mom Sridevi

Boney Kapoor recently celebrated his birthday in his wife Sridevi's hometown Chennai along with her family and their daughters Jhanvi and Khushi Kapoor but there was no trace of any of Boney’s family members, which makes us wonder if everything is alright between them.

The surprise birthday bash was a star studded one with celebrities like Shabana Azmi, Manish Malhotra and A R Rehman marking their appearance. However, on this special occasion none of Boney’s family member, including his brothers Anil and Sanjay or his children from his first wife Mona, Arjun and Anshula, were invited to the party nor did they wish him.

A family friend of Boney was earlier stated saying, "Boney’s relations with both his brothers have been deteriorating. Ever since Boney’s first wife Mona, who was loved by the entire Kapoor family, passed away, the strain in the relationship between Boney and his brothers has deepened. These days, Boney doesn’t visit Anil or Sanjay and they don’t visit him, even for family functions."

The source further said, "As for Boney’s son Arjun and daughter Anshula, they’ve made it very clear that they do not want to be associated with Boney’s second family [meaning his second wife Sridevi and daughters Khaushi and Jhanvi]," reported by Pink Villa.
