No disruption in supply of POL products in country: DG Oil

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources was pursuing an effective strategy to maintain stocks of petroleum products aimed at meeting the country's day-to-day needs in a smooth manner.

"There is no disruption in supply of petrol and diesel across the country. Sufficient stocks of POL products are available to meet the country's day to day needs," Director General (Oil) Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources Abdul Jabbar Memon said in a statement issued Monday.

Presently, he said, 210,000 metric tonnes petrol was available in the stock, while four more shipments containing around 116,000 tonnes petrol had arrived at different ports.

Currently, he said more than 400,000 metric tonnes diesel was available and the supply of petrol and diesel was smooth across the country.
