SEOUL: South Korea plans to sell 7.7 trillion Korean won ($6.87 billion) worth of treasury bonds through auctions in June, less than 7.75 trillion won worth planned for May, the finance ministry said on Thursday.
The Ministry of Strategy and Finance also said it will exchange 100 billion won worth of existing paper with new debt.
