Gepco employees rejoiced by stoppage of Pepco dissolution

SIALKOT: The jubilant employees of Gepco distributed sweets among each other in Gepco offices across the Sialkot region in the wake of halting the governmental notifications pertaining to Pepco dissolution and privatization of the power distribution companies.

Several Gepco employees performed “Bhangra” on the drum beats to rejoice this happiness.

Later, addressing an important meeting of the Gepco employees, Bao Iftikhar Ahmed (Divisional President Gepco Employees Union) termed the privatization of the power distribution companies as the economical murder of the Gepco employees.

They praised President Asif Ali Zardari for halting the notification of dissolution of the Pepco by the federal government.
