PESHAWAR: Parliamentary leader of PML-N in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Sardar Aurangzeb Nalota Tuesday said the rights of province would be guarded and concerns of its people regarding CPEC would be duly considered.
Taking floor on a point of order, he said that efforts of provincial government to secure rights of province will be supported.
He said that all the stakeholders should realize their responsibilities and safeguard interests of the province with mutual coordination and cohesion.
He said coal-based power projects would ensure smooth power generation against draughts and fluctuations of oil prices in international market.
The discussion started when Abdus Sattar said that issues regarding land acquisition for Dubair and Dassu would be solved.
Parliamentary leader of ANP in KP Assembly, Sardar Hussain Babak said that the chair should allocate proper time to discuss and debate issues concerning interests of the province and its people.
He said that KPK is abundant with resources and priority should be given to hydel power projects. He said that funds should be utilized to generate cheap electricity by establishing hydel projects in Malakand and Hazara.
He said that all the political entities should shun their differences and unite for the cause of KP province.
Shah Farman of PTI claimed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was not given its share according to AGN Qazi formula. He said that the chair should fix a day for discussion inviting parliamentary leaders to debate and constitute a committee on the subject matter.
