KARACHI: The meeting of the Sindh Apex Committee was held here on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
The Chief Minister also had a farewell meetings with the departing Corps Commander Karachi Lt General Naveed Mukhtar and Director General Pakistan Rangers Sindh Lt General Bilal Akbar.
Murad Ali Shah presented a Sindhi cap and Ajrak to the departing Corps Commander.
Lt Gen Naveed Mukhtar also presented gifts to the chief minister.
The CM lauded the services of Corps Commander which helped in reducing acts of terrorism in the city, and the coordinated efforts of law enforcement agencies to restore peace.
Senior Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister for Information, Maula Bux Chandio, Murtaza Wahab and Principal Secretary to CM Naveed Kamran Baloch were also present on the occasion.
