Pakistan transport sector is currently the place to be, with a number of car hailing apps i.e. Travly, Careem and Uber penetrating into the country, a Pakistani startup looks to change the game by introducing the first ever ride-sharing motorcycle service.
Meet Cargar, a ride sharing motorcycle service which has entered Pakistan’s dynamic transport sector, aiming to be to be an economic and pollution free solution to traffic congestion.
“Cargar is an innovative start-up aiming to provide its customers with smart solutions to over-charging, traffic congestion and intensification of carbon footprint. With Cargar, you’ll experience secure, inexpensive and efficient transport which shall not only reinvigorate the road infrastructure of twin cities but also cause reduction in civic issues,” said a statement on Cargar’s website.
As per local media reports, the service has been introduced in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, but the company plans to expand its services to Lahore and Karachi once they’ve established themselves in the twin cities.
The ride-hailing firm is currently available at web, but similar to other competitors like Careem and Uber, is developing a mobile app for the service. Online reservations for Cargar would also be introduced soon.
