Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Acting President Jawed Akhtar Bhatti has said that the 5th Pakistan Industrial Fair by Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) would open new vistas of economic activities in the area.
Besides giving a boost to morale of the industrialists and exporters by visit of many foreign trade delegations from Central Asia, China, Afghanistan and other countries are expected to visit this exhibition.
While talking to Business Recorder, he said that this event would be an important one keeping in view the economic stability of the area. "Rawalpindi is close to Central Asia and China and this exhibition would provide the industrialists of the Rawalpindi region an opportunity to penetrate in the Central Asian and Chinese markets", Bhatti said.
He said that the chamber would put all efforts into service to make 5th Pakistan Industrial Fair, to be held in April this year, a success and beneficial for the local business community besides exporters and manufacturers who intend to expand their business to Afghanistan and Central Asian Republics (CARs).
Bhatti said that following the past practices chamber has decided to hold 5th Pakistan Industrial Fair on a larger scale with the theme of "Reconstruction of Afghanistan".
He asked the RCCI members to use their abilities and make concrete efforts to make the event successful, so that it could put positive and strong image among masses specially the foreign delegates who would visit that exhibition.
"The successful exhibition has become an annual feature and symbol of pride for RCCI, therefore extra and solid efforts will be needed to make this event more successful than the past", he said.
RCCI acting president further mentioned that this industrial exhibition would give boost to local business besides introducing the local product among the general public. The exhibition would also help to increase trade and business activities in the region.
He noted that in order to facilitate the visitors and exhibitors, security and parking matters of the area would be taken special care.
