PEMRA initiates public consultative process for DTH licensing

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) in the wake of introducing Direct to Home (DTH)

licensing regime in the country has started consultative process, seeking public opinion in order to make the entire licensing process effective and transparent.

This consultative paper is available on PEMRA's website i.e. www.pemra.gov.pk Facebook Page: ReportPEMRA and Twitter account: @reportpemra, said a press release issued here on Tuesday.

General Public is invited to participate and contribute with their valuable comments, making DTH licensing regime successful and helping PEMRA in ensuring wider choices for accessing information and entertainment to the people of Pakistan.

The deadline fixed for this consultative process is May 17, 2016.
