KARACHI: Three ships carrying G Cargo, Furnace Oil and Edible Oil were berthed at Multi-Purpose Terminals, FOTCO Terminal and Liquid Cargo Terminal, respectively.
Meanwhile, three more ships carrying Containers and Furnace Oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 55% at the port on Tuesday where a total six ships namely MSC Albary, Rising, Bao Heng, Golden Helwa, Boronia and M.T Box are currently occupying berths to load/offload Containers, Cement, General Cargo, Canola Seed, Furnace Oil and Evidle Oil respectively, during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 96895 tonnes comprising 63652 tonnes imports and 33243 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 2659 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
