Pakistani singer Atif Aslam turns 32 today. He was born on 12 March 1983. He is pop/rock singer and dancer, who have given various Bollywood hits. Recently, Atif Aslam has lent his voice to another Bollywood movie ‘Badlapur’ starring Varun Dhawan. Atif Aslam sung 'Jeena Jeena' in the movie which adds a romantic touch to the album. The song which was released few days back is a melodious track.
He also has joined hand with Pakistani pop band ‘Strings’ to sing ‘World Cup 2015’ anthem for Pakistani cricket team sponsored by Coca-Cola, the song features Atif Aslam, Bilal Maqsood, Faisal Kapadia and Javed Miandad among others.
Atif Aslam has recorded numerous chart-topping songs and also made his acting debut in the 2011 in a Pakistani movie ‘Bol’. He has also made special appearances in many Bollywood songs. He continues to work on top productions and his growing popularity has seen filmmakers create special music videos like ‘Piya O Re Piya’ and ‘BeIntehaan’ to promote their films with his songs.
Atif Aslam is the youngest recipient of ‘Tamgha-e- Imtiaz’, one Pakistan civilian decoration.
Several songs from his debut album such as ’Piya O Re Piya’ , ‘Bheegi Yaadein’, ‘Kuch Is Tarah’ ,‘Ehsaas’, ‘Mahi Ve’, ‘Ankhon Sey’ along with the title track ‘Jalpari’ went on to become major hits and charted across countries in the subcontinent.
