imagePakistani singer turned actor has been awarded honourary life-time membership of the Lahore Press Club for it contribution towards Pakistani and Indian cinemas.

Ali Zafar shared his experience working in Bollywood big banner movies and thanked Pakistani audience for their unconditional love towards him with his every new movie.

According to local media reports he said in a press event, “I have done some phenomenal work in Bollywood and it is my wish to use my experience of filmmaking in the B Town for betterment of the Pakistani film industry. Apart from commencing work on my own feature film, I have also started working on a state-of-the-art music production studio”.

“Whenever a local film is released, it does better business than any foreign film in Pakistan and ‘Waar’ and ‘Kill Dill’ are great examples of this,” he added.

Ali Zafar last release ‘Kill Dil’ conquered Pakistani box office on its initial release and received good response from Pakistani audience, while it didn’t work well in Indian cinemas.
