imageISLAMABAD: Pakistan Railways will procure locomotives of 4000 plus horse power after a thorough evaluation of the technology and manufacturers.

These locomotives will play a vital role in strengthening the freight operation, said a PR official while talking to APP.

The procurement of Hopper Trucks had also been started, he added. The official said manual signalling system of Lodhara to Kotri Section was being switched over to auto signalling system.
