Over-billing would be dealt firmly: FESCO Chief

FAISALABAD: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) Khursheed Ahmad Aslam has warned of action on the issue of overbilling.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, FESCO Chief said that consumers are "precious asset" of the company and no unfair treatment with them would be tolerated. He said that "special counters" were being established at divisional level and the consumers can get electricity over-billing corrected.

He said that teams have been formed for counter-checking of meter reading, adding this could eliminate the malpractice of over-billing.
