Pakistan’s much acclaimed pop band ‘Vital Signs’ is back with a new musical video after quite a while.
Salman Ahmed an active member of ‘Junoon’ and ‘Vital Signs’ has announced a new project which will revive the ‘Vital Signs’ for a social cause.
Salman Ahmed has been working for various health projects among which polio awareness in Pakistan is a recent one. According to media reports, other members of vital signs will be joining him for this noble cause and will shoot a musical video to create a buzz among the people of Pakistan.
According to local media, “Junaid Jamshed and Shahzad Hasan (Shahi) from Vital Signs will be joining him to compose a song, based on Mirza Ghalib’s ghazal ‘Mushkilain mujh par pari itni kay aasan hogayin’. A picture of all three of them together was tweeted by Ahmed, earlier this week”.
Video will be seen on various TV channels, on different health and morning shows and also on various social networking platforms.
“The reunion song is based on Shoaib Mansoor’s beautiful and uplifting poetry. Shoaib will be producing a special music video on the reunion. This is all part of a campaign to help promote national unity and cooperation. The idea is mushrooming as we speak,” Ahmed reportedly said in an interview.
Ahmed also told a local media that he and Junaid Jamshed will be a lead vocalist for the song and it will be dedicated to raise health concerns and for polio free nation.
