Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI: One ship carrying containers was berthed at Qasim International Containers Terminal on Wednesday, 18th December. Meanwhile four more ships carrying containers, G, cargo and furnace oil are also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.

Berth occupancy was 35% at the Port on Thursday where total four ships namely CGM Moliere, CGM Wagner, Voge Eva and Theo Fylaktos are currently occupying berths to load/offload, containers, rice and sun flower seed respectively during last 24 hours.

A cargo volume of 44668 tonnes comprising 12621 tonnes and 32047 tonnes exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 1740 containers (TEUs) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
